North South Holiday Park is a family owned and operated Holiday Park and the closest to Christchurch International Airport. We are continuing with our development and upgrade plans to make our Park one of the best accommodation providers in the area.
The role
An amazing opportunity to be a part of an exciting industry and growing company to play an integral role as an Assistant Park Maintenance Manager at our Christchurch Holiday Park. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing our guests with a great experience and maintaining an exceptional standard of park maintenance.
You will be providing support to our Park Director and Maintenance Team and assist in the responsibilities for the day to day running of the Park.
You must be comfortable in running a busy, high occupancy park. Maintenance tasks will include
- Gardening, Lawns, Landscaping
- Rubbish Removal
- Painting, Building
- Minor plumping work
- General Maintenance of the Park throughout
- Maintenance large scale projects and upgrades within the Holiday Park
In addition to this you have:
- Qualifications in Hospitality, Tourism or similar
- Practical experience working in a holiday/caravan park
- Strong administration, written, verbal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and think independently
- Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and the subsequent pro-active management of such opportunities
Desirable Attributes
- First Aid certification and/or Health & Safety training.
- Trade or general maintenance knowledge is a plus.
- Passion for outdoor hospitality and guest services.
- Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and after-hours as needed.
