North South Holiday Park is about 5 minutes’ drive from Christchurch International Airport. That makes us the closest holiday park to the airport.
We are also the closest holiday park to most major vehicle rental depots, just a few minutes’ drive away. Nearby campervan depots include Apollo, Maui, Britz, JUCY, Spaceships Rentals, and RV Super Centre. Car rental depots include GO Rentals, Omega Rental Cars, Snap Rentals, JUCY Car Rental and Affordable Car Rentals.
Yes, we offer our own affordable shuttle service, which is just $7.5 per adult and $5 per child. This can be added during the online booking process, or arranged by contacting the team in advance.
Please note that our shuttle service only operates between 8:30am–5:00pm daily. If you are arriving outside of office hours, or your flight is delayed and you miss your shuttle time, you can get a taxi or Uber from the airport.
No, North South Holiday Park actually has a very peaceful and serene setting, surrounded by trees and greenery. We are far enough away from the airport and the main road that noise isn’t really a factor, allowing you to enjoy a good night’s sleep.
Bookings
The easiest way to make a booking is online, though you can also call or email our team. While you can book on arrival, it is strongly recommended to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Please note that you are always guaranteed the best possible rates when you book directly through this website, as opposed to third-party booking options.
If you cancel your booking more than seven days prior to arrival, you will receive a full refund, minus a small administration fee. The administration fee is $20 for sites, cabins, and some units. The administration fee is $50 for the Pukeko, Fantail, Tui, or Kiwi units.
Cancellation within seven days of arrival will result in loss of full deposit.
If you have placed a non-refundable booking, no refunds will be given in the even of cancellation.
Check-in is any time after 2:00pm, and check-out is before 10:00am.
Yes. You can check in at any time after 2pm, even after hours. For stays in units or cabins, we can leave the keys for you to collect on arrival. You can also request that the heat pump be left on.
Yes, we have accommodation to suit families of all sizes and travel budgets. We also have facilities designed for families, including a heated pool, playground, jumping pillow, trampoline, outdoor games, arcade room, BBQ areas, spacious grounds, and free unlimited WiFi.
Yes! North South Holiday Park can arrange configurations for groups of any size, including larger groups of well over 100 people. You can request a custom group quote for your preferred dates online.
Facilities
Guests in cabins or sites have access to a comprehensive range of facilities here onsite. These include two Shared Kitchens, a modern Dining Room and TV Room, clean Bathroom Blocks with Free Hot Showers, two Laundry Rooms, BBQ Area, Heated Swimming Pool, and of course, Free Unlimited WiFi!
Yes. There are two coin-operated laundries with washing machines and dryers. A cold wash is $3, and a warm wash is $4. The dryer is $1 per 13 minutes. If you need coins, come and see us at reception.
Absolutely. All guests can enjoy unlimited free Wi-Fi throughout the park.
No. The heated pool is open during the warmer months, from October to April.
Linen and towels are provided for all units and cabins, with the exception of our Bunkhouses. For bunkhouses, a fitted sheet and pillow are provided on each bunk, but we encourage groups to bring their own bedding and towels.
Rooms are service on the third day of your stay, and then every second day thereafter. If you would like your room to be serviced more frequently or less frequently than this, just ask our team.
Yes we do. We can supply portacots free of charge on request. Highchairs are available in our shared kitchen areas.
Yes. Every unit, cabin, and site includes a car park right beside it or close by, which helps with loading and unloading.
Each campsite can sleep a maximum of 6 people.
Yes. Each powered campsite has a power point and water supply.
We do not have any wheelchair accessible units or cabins, but we do have accessible bathrooms in both the male and female main ablution block. Keys for these are held at reception.
Pets
Yes, all of our accommodation and campsites are pet friendly!
We are the only holiday park in Christchurch that allows pets in our accommodation. This includes units, cabins and group accommodation. If you plan on bringing pets, we just ask that you let us know in advance, and that you familiarise yourself with our pet policies.
Please note that pets are not allowed in shared facilities, including kitchens, bathrooms, dining areas or laundry rooms.
Yes. For pets staying inside roofed accommodation, there is a fee of $15–$20 per animal per night, depending on the unit.
There is also a $25 bond for guests with pets staying in roofed accommodation. This is refunded after departure once the room has been checked and cleaned.
No, pets staying on camping sites are completely free. We simply require you to mention them in your booking notes.
